• Completes and publishes layout/capability reports as directed by the Quality Engineer
  • Develops quality work instruction coordinating quality testing.
  • Develops and maintains plant calibration system, operator instructions, and any other quality system as needed
  • Performs capability studies and aids in design of experiments
  • Interacts with inter-affiliate vendors, design, and customers when necessary
  • Provides technical assistance to plant personnel
  • Utilizes metrology tools and optimal technical equipment per print requirements
  • Performs Molding Inspector duties
  • Assists with gage design
  • Performs CMM programming including creation and execution of
  • Provides Inspector Training including quality related measuring equipment
  • Assists quality personnel in the review of charting, test and measurement methods when requested
  • Promotes safety throughout the plant and participates in Behavior Based Safety observations


Incumbent must have a high school education or equivalent.A certificate from a college/technical school; or three to six months of related work experience and/or training in metrology, blueprint reading, and geometric tolerancing is preferred.Must have above average mathematical skills and computer skills.Willingness to support overtime including weekend coverage.
