The Arcadia Police Department and the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Chippewa Falls man after discovering 6 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

According to a release from the Arcadia Police Department, an Arcadia Police Officer pulled over 28-year-old Steven Olson for a traffic violation on Jan. 4. The officer called for a K-9 unit from the Trempealeau County Sherriff's upon making the traffic stop.

The K-9 indicated the presence of drugs. Along with the meth, officers found 9.4 grams of a THC like substance and drug paraphernalia. Olson was arrested for drug and drug paraphernalia possession, bail jumping and probation violations.
