(Learfield) Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is vowing to fight the Trump administration and what she calls the "oppressive" administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "until we take our last breath."

Omar, Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and supporters spoke Monday afternoon at the State Capitol. Omar says Israel denying a visit to duly-elected members of Congress is not consistent with being an ally -- and she says denying freedom of movement to millions is not consistent with being a democracy.

More than 50 Minnesota House Republicans say in a letter to Omar that the "Boycott, Divest and Sanction" movement rejects Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state. Israel denied entry to the Muslim congresswomen over their support for the Palestinian-led boycott movement.
