(Learfield) President Donald Trump's campaign is battling the city of Minneapolis over 530-thousand dollars in security costs for Thursday's rally at Target Center.
The Trump campaign says city officials told them they need to pay for security and other costs related to the sold-out event or it will withhold the use of the arena. The campaign claims the U-S Secret Service is responsible for coordinating security even though this is not an official White House visit.
The Trump campaign has been billed more than 840-thousand dollars for unpaid security costs by cities including El Paso, Texas; Mesa, Arizona; Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Rochester and Duluth Minnesota.
