(KWNO) The Winona Chamber of Commerce celebrated June Dairy Month by selling buckets featuring locally-sourced dairy products.
Chamber President Christie Ransom told KWNO’s In the Know Tuesday that chamber workers filled 1,000 buckets with 6,000 pounds of local dairy products. Ransom said the bucket idea came from local FFA chapters.
“I was blown away and humbled by how many businesses and individuals stepped up to support this initiative,” Ransom said.
According to Ransom, the buckets were an initiative to replace the annual Family Night on the Farm, which was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
