(KWNO) The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 in Winona County Saturday.
That brings the county’s case total to 259. MDH reported three new cases in Wabasha County and a new case in Fillmore County.
Eight deaths and 924 new cases were tallied across the state, with four being residents of long-term-care facilities. Eight cases were removed from the new case total of 60,101.
1,648 Minnesotans have died from complications related to COVID-19. 52,768 people have recovered from the virus and no longer need to self-isolate.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has subtracted a case from Buffalo County, reported four new cases in Trempealeau County and tallied seven new cases in La Crosse County.
996 of Wisconsin's 59,933 cases of the virus have been fatal.
