(Learfield) The Mower County Board of Commissioners will continue to allow refugee resettlement in southern Minnesota.

Officials unanimously approved a consent order this week which will bring federal funding to the county for refugee support. Mower County has received 127 refugees through the resettlement program since 2015.

Brown and Kandiyohi counties also recently voted to accept refugees. No counties in Minnesota have opposed refugee resettlement in response to President Trump's executive order.
