Study Details Household Poverty Rates in Buffalo, Trempealeau Counties

(KWNO) The United Way Wisconsin released a study concerning households struggling to make ends meet in Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties.
According to the study, which contains data from 2010-2018, 10% of households in Buffalo County are below the poverty line, while 21% struggle to afford basic necessities despite being employed. The median household income is $57,134, which is below the state average of $60,773.
9% of households in Trempealeau County are below the poverty line, while 24% struggle to afford basic needs. The median income is $55,865.
