(KWNO) Winona’s own Paul Machajewski is one of the three US Army Corps of Engineers Civil Servants of the Year for 2019.
Machajewski was nominated for the “Customer Service” award for serving on three teams to develop new dredged material management plans. Machajewski, with 30 years of service with the federal government service, is the dredged material manager for the district.
“I am truly shocked and humbled by this nomination,” said Machajewski. “I want to thank my past and current coworkers and supervisors who have taken me under their wings during my 30 years of federal service and helped shape me as a federal employee. I also want to thank my family for supporting me on this journey.”
