Miller Talks Disaster Relief Fund

Minnesota Senate President Jeremy Miller (R-Winona) shared his urgency in replenishing the state’s disaster relief fund and broadband expansion.
Miller believes the legislature will get the fund replenished. Miller said the legislature can use some of the budget surplus to fund the account.
Governor Tim Walz’s budget calls for $10 million to the disaster fund. The house is calling for $20 million for the fund.
